Anaplastic sarcoma?

.... does anyone have experience/info on Anaplastic sarcoma? .... from the little information I have so far, there are different types/sources for an anaplastic sarcoma ... special histological stains are required for a more definitive diagnosis ... hopefully, I'll have that info by Monday, when Ivan gets his stitches out from the biopsy. Google isn't finding very much info for me .... to treat or not to treat .... I really don't like my options at this particular moment

Ivan, on the other hand, doesn't know he's not well and is carrying on as usual. He's keeping a close eye, or rather nose, on my kitchen duties .... then, stretches out in the middle of the floor, where it's necessary to step over him a number of times just to put together a simple lunch. We've been out to check the fence line ... on our 2 acre country estate . The pack only utilize the whole 2 acres when someone is out with them ... 'cause, of course, my Belgies like to be within 15' or LESS of their family members ... so ... why do I have 2 acres??!!!!!!

Just a thought. Could you try e-mailing the vet college in Ontario?

No information. Just prayers. Isn't it a blessing that our dogs don't know their diagnoses and just get on with the job of living?

Hi Teresa,

I'm pretty sure that is where the biopsy went for diagnosis, the University of Guelph Veterinary Hospital, in Ontario
The Vet will have more info by Monday, I hope.....I just wanted to be somewhat prepared for the news. I know I won't have to make any decisions right away, but .....

Another thought, if they did send it to Guelph, ask your vet if he/she wouldn't mind getting some information from the vet college in Pulman, Washington. I had no problems getting advise for one of my sheltie's who at the time had "sheltie skin".
