Babies!

My China-girl (the one in the signature picture) had 9 puppies last night. No, no, not here in the motorhome. In Newfoundland, at my very good friend Dean Goudie's (Alphaloup Belgians) house. I stayed on the phone with him for several hours and we had drinks and I razzed him about there being 12 in there. And once she had 8 I said don't you dare go to bed because if you do, when you get up there'll be another one. Sure enough, when he got up there was #9. Anyway, all is well, there are 4 girls and 5 boys, 5 black and 4 terv. Dad is Maggrays' Mr Ultra Irresistible. I think one of those puppies might be wandering over to PB in about 8 weeks. That would be fun :-)

Congratulations! It would be wonderful if one of the pups moves to PB for a permanent home! Does your friend know about posting pics of the puppies? You did tell him that was part of the nanny duties, didn't you? <g>

Congratulations on the new babies. Did you lease Chine out? Or will these be the first Quantum Belgians in a long, long time?

Thanks for all the good wishes, and no, I didn't post any pictures. I did lease China out. What happened is, I realized that buying China wasn't very well thought out, because I really don't want to breed any more and having an intact girl was more work than I wanted. (seeing as Abba is really just a life-support system for a penis) Sooo... I figured my options were to spay her, or let someone use her first, because isn't it just silly to waste a lovely girl who has come from so far away and at such great expense. I knew Dean and his Other Half would love and care for as I would so they were a great choice for her. Now, prying her out of Dean and Steve's house might the toughest part yet.
