Too many losses lately. My sympathies to all who have lost a loved one lately or to ones who are ill and hopefully recuperating!
Lane was let go on 10/30/09 due to transitional cell carcinoma (bladder cancer). She was still vibrant, very happy and still eating (she was a horrible begger) but could no longer pee. What a great dog who charmed her way into you heart. Gosh, we miss her - 'Til we meet again sweetheart.

I'm pretty sure that I saw extra stars racing with Misha's star tonight on the way home along with the full moon.

Our Belgian world is truely at a loss with all of these wonderful dogs making the trip to Rainbow Bridge.
I'm so sorry to hear of Lanes passing, she was such a stunning girl (as you already know ;)) with so much pizazz to life.

I can only add my sympathies also... A gorgeous dog, and she looks like one that Java would be happy to race with on the other side of the bridge; they have the same look in their eye. Hoping now that the bridge will close it's gates for awhile! T.

Oh Cathy, I'm so sorry.
One of our girls suffered so (many years ago). Letting ours go was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do since she too didn't seem ill. We tried catheters for some period of time, but the vet finally thought it best to euthanize her.
I love that portrait of Lane in the snow looking into the distance. It shows your beautiful and noble girl well.

Thank you for your comments. It has helped. It has a been a week today and I am amazed at how much my life revolved around her, in a great way. She was our family and I would not have it any other way.
It has been a very sad week for many people, my condolences to all.
