Oh, Denise. Even knowing this was coming, it's such a sad day. Misha and you had (have) such a bond; it was evident in your posts and especially in the pictures. Bless you for giving her such a wonderful, long, happy life. May the memories you have soon bring you comfort and smiles rather than the ache of loss. Our old ones are a treasure; such wisdom and humor shows in Misha's pictures!

I've gone back often to see Misha's pictures ... especially the close-ups, you can see the happiness and contentment in her eyes. I'm so sorry you have had to say good-bye to such a grand sole.

Denise.... I am so very sorry. I showed Rick the pictures of Misha too. His first response was "Oh wow! She's beautiful." His second response... "let her know I'm so sorry." My husband knows what it is to be truly loved by a Belgian, and he can only imagine life without his Lexi.

This is the first time since posting that I've turned the computer on...thank you all for your messages, they mean so much. Thank you Fataah for the early morning phone call and Petra, Cathy for your messages, things like that really do make a difference.
Normally we say things like "you gave her a good life" I can say that Misha gave ME a good life. She changed my life, she was awesome beyond words, intuitive, protective, very intelligent and tough as nails. Yesterday at the beach she had her eyes on the surfer dudes coming up, even in her condition she was my biggest advocate and fan. We went to In n Out for Cheeseburgers, she had bites while visiting some friends here and there, all in an upbeat way, with me on the beach and on her bed looking into my eyes, while my good vet helped her to the bridge.

and here we are that day having the "I love YOU more" chat
she will be forever missed and loved.

Her name says it all. Heather and I are really sorry to hear that Misha is gone. I know how hard it is to lose one of our babies but knowing they are free of all pain is a relief. Hopefully Tag will get to flirt with Misha! He always loved the Belgian girls!

Its just to hard to know that friends that I've sought to meet are gone before I ever met them.
I'm esp. sorry to have never met Miss Misha. My SIL and I were recently talking of how we'd travel to meet all the grand good doggies on the Left Coast.

Denise, I was hoping that your beautiful Misha would prevail and stay w/you a bit longer than expected considering the dire diagnosis.
Thank you for sharing the photos of you and your darlings. I'm sure you'll always treasure them, but so too will I--and so many others I'm sure. She is one I regret never having met.
