PB = Planet Belgian/PureBred

I was looking on PetFinder to check out Ella's post. I ran across the following:
Louise is a very friendly PB Belgian Malinois . She is Very obiedient.She was dumped in The everglades to fend for herself. She is Housebroken and crate trained. She's good With people and other dogs; Prefers large dogs but NO CATS! Serious inquiries only. If you Know anyone in the police K9 unit she needs to work! She is currently intact but will be spayed before adoption. Louise is up to date on her shots and house trained. Adoption fee is $250.00

Of course, to me PB means Planet Belgian and my eyebrows rose up to my hairline when I read that a PB Mal had been abandoned in the Everglades. And how did the shelter know about Planet Belgian? And maybe she wasn't abandoned but lost. And maybe we could find the PB member who lost her. And...... And then it hit me. PB can also mean PureBred. Duh.

Still a shame for this girl but not quite as horrifying as to think that one of our own would have abandoned her.

Storm & Taqa Animals aren't my whole life; they make my life whole.
